INTRODUCTION.

The inventory measures 19 factors describing 4 profiles of personality relevant to understanding the ADD mindset. They paint a picture of your ADD by indicating your strengths and problem areas. This information can help you understand yourself better and develop plans to become the unique person you are created to be. The results are not to be used as a label that may stifle personal growth but rather as a starting point for self-understanding, change and fulfillment in life.

The accuracy, validity, and usefulness of this inventory has been verified. Any specific factor score can range from 0 to 100. Keep in mind that all people have the various traits measured so that the value of any one trait will be relative.

FACTOR SCORING: Each factor is assigned two score ranges. The TYPICAL score range is that of those with ADHD. The GENERAL score range is that of the general non-ADD population.

IMPULSIVENESS - The tendency to respond, act or react without considering the consequences.  Also to change your mind for no apparent reason; rash decisions; lack of forethought.  A high score indicates impulsiveness.   TYPICAL: 52 - 76    GENERAL: 25 - 55

HYPERACTIVITY - Excessive activity, both physical and/or mental; restlessness, repetitive actions, and perhaps anxiety or a feeling of foreboding.  A high score indicates hyperactivity.  TYPICAL: 62 - 86   GENERAL: 35 - 65
